The first tunnel under Łódź is ready!

 On February 17, 2022, the Łódź TBM (Faustyna, 8.78 m in diameter), having drilled 927 meters, reached its destination, the shaft at Odolanowska Street.

It is one of the four single-track tunnels implemented under the project "Improvement of the Łódź Railway Junction (TEN-T), stage II, section Łódź Fabryczna - Łódź Kaliska / Łódź Żabieniec".
The accuracy we achieved at the exit of the tunnel in the Odolanowska chamber meets the specification requirements with a large margin.

This is another success of our colleagues in geodetic service of tunnel investments.
